Interested Landowners

The Alta Wind Energy Center (AWEC) and Terra-Gen Power would like to thank the local landowners for their support of wind energy development in Kern County. The overwhelming support received in 2011, allowed for the unanimous approval of two zoning applications with the Kern County Planning Commission and the Kern County Board of Supervisors.

A key foundation of any wind project is a quality relationship with each landowner and the community as a whole.
